Cross Country Running Team Race in Portadown

2nd Dec 2019

Congratulations to the St Patrick’s Cross Country Running team who gave up their “day off” to participate in Round Two of the Flahavan’s Primary School Cross Country Running Competition. Today’s race was held in Portadown Rugby Club grounds and was run over 1400metres, 200m further than their previous race in round one. All boys and girls successfully completed their races in fine form on what was a cold but dry day for running. A special thanks to Mrs Shauna Duggan, mum of P6 runners Charlie and Jack, who along with Mr O’Hare transported the children to the venue today. Once the results are in we will see if anyone has qualified for the next round......the N Ireland Cross Country Finals for only the elite runners. Fingers crossed.
