Children’s Mental Health Week - Day of Fun!

15th Feb 2026
This week in school was Children’s Mental Health Week. In addition to all that was going on in our assemblies, we had a special day on Wednesday to bring the half-term to a close.

With the aim of winding down and having some fun, we promoted Children’s Mental Health Week by having a Non-Uniform and Games Day. We invited our boys and girls to wear their favourite outfit to school, and to bring their favourite snack and drink with them. Across all of the classes, we had a games day: board games, card games, guessing games and sports games. With games like magnetic darts, Connect 4, Chess, Jenga, UNO, Dobble and many, many more, our pupils had a fabulous and fun-filled day before their break.

Each and every day in St. Patrick’s, we encourage our pupils to grow in kindness and resilience, whilst making sure all children felt valued and listened to. This week was just an opportunity to reinforce this, all while reminding our boys and girls how to look after their own mental health and be happy. We think the photos from our fun day say it all.
