We had a lovely surprise at school this morning when Mr Justin Mallon, Manager of Armagh Credit Union Limited, visited school to give us some very exciting news - we had some great success in their recent Art Competition!
In the P4 age-group, Clodagh D did extremely well with her interpretation of the competition title, "The Future Is...", so well in fact that she finished in 2nd place! Congratulations, Clodagh.
In the P6 age-group, Aoife's artistic attempt earned recognition for how good it was, also finishing in 2nd place. This is the second time Aoife has been awarded a prize in the last few years - what a talent! Congratulations, Aoife.
Finally, returning to the P4 age-group, we are delighted to share that we had a winner! Clodagh R's entry was judged to have been the best from the close to 300 entries from across the Armagh schools. What a fabulous achievement and worthy recognition of her effort. Clodagh's 1st place effort as branch winner now goes on to compete against other branch winners from Armagh, Down and Tyrone at chapter level. Congratulations, Clodagh!
Well done to all who entered, and thank you once again to Armagh Credit Union for their continued support of all schools in the Armagh area - it is greatly appreciated.
