Cross country running team head to Lurgan

The St Patrick’s cross country running team travelled to Lurgan recently to participate in Round One of the Flahavan’s Primary Schools Running competition. School children from all across the southern area took part today. Both the St Pat’s boys’ and girls’ teams did tremendously well with all runners, from a mix of Primary 5, 6 and 7 classes, crossing the finish line in fine form. The race is actually a team competition so all competitors finishing is necessary for the whole team to do well.The second round of this event will be held in Portadown Rugby Club grounds later on in the December.
