Cross-Country Success for P5-P7

Huge amounts of rainfall + plummeting temperatures = Cross-Country Running!

St Patrick's Grammar School Armagh held their annual Primary School Cross-Country Running Event in bright but cold conditions earlier this week. This fantastic event is always a pleasure for our pupils to attend and this year was no different.

Boys and girls from P5-P7 participated in the gruelling run, with a whopping 15 of our runners finishing in the Top 10 of their races, taking home a medal!

Well done to all of our runners who represented our school on the day - they came through trials in our school and were fantastic on the day. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Special mentions to Emily in P7 who did amazingly well to win her race, pacing herself brilliantly to burst home on the last lap and take 1st place 🏆 , and also to Eoghan in P6, who despite losing one of his boots in the mud on the first lap, showed real perseverance and battled hard to run 1 and a half laps with only one boot to finish in 4th place!
