Digital Leaders’ Day Out in Amma Centre
18th Apr 2026
Yesterday, our Digital Leaders enjoyed an exciting and inspiring visit to the AmmA Creative Learning Centre, where they took part in a full day of ICT-focused learning.
Throughout the day, pupils explored a wide range of digital skills, including using green screen technology, creating cartoon-style profiles for informative school posters, and developing their understanding of artificial intelligence, learning how to both use AI tools and identify AI-generated images and videos.
They also had the opportunity to design and build their own games using Microsoft Arcade, as well as practise programming coding robots.
This hands-on experience is helping them prepare for our upcoming Coding Day, where they will take on a leadership role in teaching KS1 pupils how to use the robots.
It was a fantastic day of creativity, collaboration and digital innovation! Well done to all of our school’s Digital Leaders!
