Eco-Committee Raise New Green Flag
8th May 2025
It was a proud morning for our Eco-Committee as they raised our new Green Flag!
The Green Flag Award is a significant indicator of our school's commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness. Awarded by Eco-Schools NI, it is recognition for the work of our staff and pupils in promoting collective responsibility for the future of our planet by educating them on sustainable practices to carry through their lives.
Congratulations to our Eco-Committee members as this is the result of several years of work towards achieving this status, including past pupils now in Years 7 and 8.
Our Eco-Committee Chairperson, Amber, and Secretary, Katie, were delighted to have the honour of raising the flag on behalf of all pupils in our school. Well done to all involved.
