Frantic Football Festival for P5-P7

A festival of football took place for the pupils of P5-P7 today as we took to Armagh Harps GFC’s Abbey Park to hold our Girls’ Gaelic Blitz, including semi-finals and final, as well as the semi-finals and final of our Boys’ Gaelic League that has been running over the last 6 weeks.

It was an amazing day with so much skill, talent and heart on show. With all of their friends there to cheer them on, two tense finals produced drama with thrilling climaxes.

Congratulations to all of our boys and girls who took part today, particularly our two winning teams.

We’d like to give special thanks to 3 young Armagh Harps gaels who gave up their day to referee our girls games: Cara Kelly, and two of our own past pupils, Molly Monaghan and Courtney Fox (not pictured.) All 3 were a delight to have on board with us today. Thank you, girls!
