Girls Football Team Progress in O’Reilly Cup
2nd May 2025
Our Girls' Football Team kicked off a big week for them with a great morning out in Eire Og, participating in the O'Reilly Cup.
Facing off against St. Francis' PS, St. Anthony's PS and Tannaghmore PS, they progressed to the next round as group winners after winning all 3 of their games. A brilliant morning of hard-hitting football with fantastic skill and heart on show.
Our other team of girls also enjoyed a great morning out participating in Go Games, giving them a fun experience while being proud to represent our school.
We now look ahead to tomorrow, and the big event for our girls, as they prepare for the Malachy McGeeney Cup Final. They have done amazingly well to reach this stage with some incredible performances in all weather conditions imaginable. Tomorrow, they take on Tannaghmore Primary School in the Large Schools County Final in the Athletic Grounds at 12.30pm.
Please join us in wishing our girls, Miss O'Kane and Mrs Kinane all the best of luck for their final tomorrow. We are so proud of the people they are, and the pleasure and pride they take in representing St. Patrick's Primary School. Up the Pats!
