Goodbye Mrs McCabe and Mrs Cullen

10th Jun 2022

This week in school we had the opportunity to say a special thank you and goodbye to two members of staff who have left the school recently.

Mrs Anna McCabe worked as our School Office Manager for an incredible 36 years! Last Summer, Mrs McCabe felt it was time to call an end to her working-life in St. Patrick’s. Several principals, dozens of teachers and thousands of pupils have passed through our doors during Mrs McCabe’s time here, and she helped every single one of those people in some way, big or small. She was the first person to greet many people as they crossed our threshold as pupils, and when they returned later in life as parents. We were delighted to have the opportunity to recognise and thank her for her work in St. Patrick’s, and to wish her well in her retirement.

Mrs Sandra Cullen worked in our school for over 10 years, taking on a range of roles from classroom assistant, to cleaner, to lunchtime supervisor. It was clear that Sandra really enjoyed her time working in St. Patrick’s, forming close bonds with pupils and close friendships with staff. We are very grateful for her time working here and wish her all the luck in the world in her new job.

Thank you to both Mrs McCabe and Mrs Cullen for the care and affection they have shown to our pupils over the years.
