Incredible Day at Peace Proms 2026 for School Choir

We couldn’t be prouder of our Key Stage 2 Choir who were SUPERB yesterday in their performance at the prestigious Peace Proms - Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland 2026 in the SSE Arena, Belfast.

6 months of preparation paid off handsomely as our boys and girls gave the performance of a lifetime as part of the enormous choir of children from across 11 counties of Ireland.

This event was an unforgettable celebration of music and community, featuring the world-renowned Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland alongside an exciting line-up of soloists, drummers, pipers, and dancers from across the island of Ireland.

We owe a huge thank you to our music leader, Miss McLoughlin, for her restless effort in preparing our singers for the Peace Proms.

The biggest thank you goes to our choir members for their dedication in representing St. Patrick’s Primary School. From 9.00am until 5.00pm on a Sunday, they represented our school wonderfully through their behaviour, effort, manners and singing. They were a huge credit to themselves, their school and their families.

What an honour to be a part of this event. We are sure all parents who were in attendance left the arena thoroughly entertained and with a great sense of pride in their children.
