Investigating Autumn

The P1 classes have been using their senses to investigate in Autumn.  They went out on an Autumn Walk where they listened to the crunching of leaves and birds calling from tree to tree. They collected chestnuts, beech nuts, acorns and leaves to observe similarities and differences under the magnifying glass back in class. Having looked at the colours in the leaves they sponge painted leaves for an autumn display.
