Irish National Championship Success

Our return to school this morning brought wonderful news of success for three of our girls in the Irish National Championships for Irish Dancing.

Jessie and Cassie from P6, and Aoife from P5, travelled to Killarney, Co. Kerry, to compete in the prestigious national event for the first time, an experience they will hold close and be sure to never forget.

We are thrilled to share that Jessie was crowned Priomh Comortas Champion, earning 1st place in her section following an outstanding performance that showcased all of her skills. Congratulations Jessie on becoming a National Champion - what an honour!

Aoife and Cassie were also superb in their first ever national event, finishing 7th and 8th out of 58 dancers in their field at Priomh Comortas. Their efforts and dedication were rewarded with such impressive final placings that we know were well-deserved.

Competing at national level in any sport or discipline takes special talent. Congratulations to Aoife, Cassie and our new National Champion, Jessie, on all of their efforts - we are extremely proud of you!
