Well done to the three teams who travelled to the Eire Og Club in Craigavon on Friday to play their first round Gaelic football matches against St Anthony’s PS. What began as a bright sunny morning, quickly descended into a damp wet day for playing football. However in the poor conditions the girls team battled away and won their match by a few points. The boys “B” team also tasted success beating the St Anthony’s “B” teams by a few goals. The boys “A” team played a fancied St Anthony’s team who were very strong in the first half. After wind, rain and the cold our boys were beaten by just two points on the day. A wet day but everyone was still smiling on the bus journey home.
