More Silverware for Gaelic Team

26th Feb 2022
🏆 Sporting Success for St. Patrick’s! 🏆 Yesterday saw silverware return to St. Patrick’s for the second time this year. Congratulations to our boys who performed extremely well at St Patrick's Grammar School Armagh’s annual Primary Schools Blitz. Both of our teams played three group games, managing to progress out of their groups to the semi-final stages. In what were two hotly contested semi-finals vs St John’s P.S. Moy, and vs Armagh CBS, both of our teams ran out victorious, making their way to their respective finals. Unfortunately, one of our teams were narrowly defeated by a few points in their final, but they picked up hard-earned and richly-deserved runners-up medals. In the other final, our boys performed wonderfully and emerged triumphant, taking home the Cardinal Brady Cup! 🏆 When considered alongside the trophy won by our girls before Christmas, it has been a fantastic year for Gaelic Games in St. Patrick’s Primary School. All of the boys did themselves, their school and their families proud, showcasing terrific talent, skill, heart, work-rate and sportsmanship. Thank you to St. Patrick’s Grammar School Armagh for organising yet another successful Primary Schools Blitz. Thank you also to the parent Kieran Corr and past pupil James Mc Cormick who provided assistance on the day - your continued support is greatly appreciated.
