October Awards Assemblies
13th Nov 2025
As we entered November, we welcomed everyone back to school, hopefully well-rested after what is always a hectic and eventful first half-term. We took the opportunity to host our monthly Awards Assemblies, showcasing all of the learning, progress and effort that took place during the month of October.
From Primary 1 right through to Primary 7, we were wowed listening to the vast array of work that went on each and every day in our school. Reading, Mental Maths, Art projects, handwriting, improvement in PE, interesting pieces of creative writing - it was wonderful to hear about so much success for our boys and girls.
We also presented awards to those who were recognised for embodying our focus school value for October, "Respect." This meant that in their words and also in their actions, on a daily basis they showed respect to their fellow pupils and staff in school. They also showed respect to visitors to school, giving them a warm St. Patrick's welcome. Importantly, they also had self-respect. They had pride and confidence in themselves, in their behaviour, in their manners, in their appearance and in their learning.
We also had a phenomenal number of children sharing good news about their achievements outside of school, more on which we'll be sharing soon.
Huge congratulations to all of our award winners for October!
