P1-P6 June Awards Assembly

Now that the P7s' tears had finally been dried off the floor (not to mention the Silly String in the car park...), it was the turn of our P1-P6 children to have their efforts and achievements over the last few weeks deservedly recognised, and we are very happy to report that the future of St. Patrick's looks very bright indeed.

Mr McKinley's favourite occasions are always our Awards Assemblies. Ordinarily these are split into different age groups, but this week's was a special occasion so all 6 year groups gathered together to listen to all of the magnificent things that have been going on both in and out of school.

Improvements in handwriting, numeracy skills, reading comprehension, and artistic talents were accompanied by tales of friendship, kindness, behaviour, manners and care - music to the ears of all the teachers waiting to receive their new classes in September.

Achievements outside of school were also shared, with future stars of boxing, Irish dancing, soccer, Gaelic, swimming, modern dance and gymnastics all on show.

Congratulations to all of our award winners from Primary 1 - Primary 6; sharing in your achievements was the perfect send-off to 2024-2025.
