Yesterday, we were extremely proud to welcome 4 guests - 3 of whom hold very special positions in their current school - to our Open Day to speak with parents about their learning and experiences during their time here in St. Patrick's.
It was our pleasure to see the return of our former pupils:
- Elsie Druse, Head Girl in St. Catherine's College.
- Noel George, Head Boy in St. Patrick's Grammar.
- Cormac McCreesh, Deputy Head Boy in St. Patrick's Grammar.
We had the chance to listen to how fondly and warmly they spoke of their life as a pupil here.
It was wonderful to hear them speak with such love about our school, the happy memories they have, and how all three gave thanks to the excellent academic foundation they received in St. Patrick's. Elsie, Noel and Cormac are a great credit to their families and their schools, and we want to share our thanks for their efforts in making time to visit us once again. What fantastic role models for our current pupils to admire and hope to emulate.
We were doubly proud to also welcome one of our current Primary 7 pupils, Aoibheann, to speak with the families present about her love and enjoyment of our school. She spoke so well, with many commenting on how impressed they were with her maturity and delivery of her speech. Aoibheann shared how she had developed from a shy, nervous Primary 1 pupil, into the confident and resilient P7 who stood before us. She did her family and all of her teachers very proud. Thank you, Aobiheann.
