Primary 2 Exploring and Scoffing Porridge

17th May 2024
One year group who have had plenty of fun and adventures of the past week is our Primary 2 classes.

On last week's Orange Day, our P2 pupils went on a Spring Walk as part of their World Around Us studies, exploring our school grounds and Outdoor Learning area, searching for different plants and insects. They used their senses to describe what they could see, hear, feel and smell, but thankfully not taste.

Their next activity was a quite a nice treat, with a fun, interactive lesson combining STEM and English, as they rounded off their study of Fairytales by making the 3 Bears' Porridge. They used listening ears and watching eyes to closely follow instructions, before getting to choose their own toppings to add to their delicious porridge. Taste was certainly one of the senses going into overload on this occasion, as all the porridge was wolfed down in record time! Just right!

Well done to our Primary 2 pupils on their efforts over the last week.
