Primary 7 CPR Training with Safe Hands
18th Apr 2026
Our Primary 7 pupils had a fantastic hands-on learning experience this week as they took part in First Aid/CPR training with Safe Hands facilitators, Pat and Kelly.
The boys and girls learned vital lifesaving skills, including how to save someone from choking; identifying the symptoms of anaphylaxis and treating them with an Epi-Pen; performing CPR and using a defibrillator; and placing someone in the Recovery Position.
They showed great enthusiasm, maturity, and teamwork throughout the session, skills that will stay with them for life.
A huge thank you to our friends Pat and Kelly from Safe Hands for delivering such an engaging and interactive workshop. Every August, before the start of the new school year, all staff in school receive their excellent support and training.
Extending this training to our Primary 7 boys and girls over the last few years has been a great success. We’re very proud of them all for taking this important step in becoming confident, responsible young people.
