Primary 7’s Final Sports Day

Last Friday saw our Primary 7 boys and girls have their final Sports Day in St. Patrick’s, and what a day it was!

Sunshine and blue skies greeted our pupils and their parents for an action-packed day.

Well done to everyone for their efforts, with an extra congratulations to all of our medal winners across all of our events.

We can’t let the day pass without a special mention to our parents who attended for creating a fantastic atmosphere, especially to those who absolutely delighted their children by getting involved in the Sprint Race, Kick Over the Bar, and the Welly Boot Throw. We had to have two races for the mothers there were that many keen to join in! Shanked kicks, huge throws, and the usual stumbles were all joined by plenty of smiles and laughs. Thank you to all for getting in the spirit!

Primary 7’s final Sports Day has been and gone - they were superb yesterday with exemplary effort and behaviour. They are a credit to their families.

We now look forward to our other Sports Days over the next week, keeping fingers crossed that the weather remains kind to us! ?? ??
