School Choir Visit SSE Arena for Peace Proms Practice
12th Nov 2025
Our fantastically-talented school choir had a brilliant day out at the SSE Arena in Belfast today, attending their first rehearsal for their participation in Belfast Peace Proms 2026!
Boys and girls from our P5, P6 and P7 classes made the trip to lift their voices and shake their bodies to a range of musical and pop classics that filled the arena.
Belfast Peace Proms 2026 promises an unforgettable celebration of music and community, featuring the world-renowned Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland alongside an exciting line-up of soloists, drummers, pipers, and dancers from across the island of Ireland.
We are delighted to be one of only six schools from County Armagh participating in this event featuring schools from across 11 counties of Ireland.
The hard work and practice continues with Miss McLoughlin’s singing sessions in school as we count down towards the Peace Proms on Sunday 1st March 2026. Exciting times ahead for the pupils of St. Patrick’s!
