St. Patrick’s Summer Fun Day and Colour Run!

The exciting news may have filtered home already, but we are delighted to share that we will be having a Summer Fun Day for all of our pupils, including our first ever Colour Run, on Tuesday 24th June right here at St. Patrick's Primary School.

An exciting day is in store for our boys and girls as we hold our Colour Run all around our school grounds. Be prepared for fun, chaos and laughter as we get covered head-to-toe in the colours of the rainbow.

That's not all though, as we will have an Active Dance Party to kick off the run held with the support of Healthy Kidz. We will also have an obstacle course, penalty shootouts, sponge throws at selected, brave members of staff, stalls selling Hot Dogs and ice-lollies, a Sweet Shop, a Stationery Shop and a Lucky Dip where you can win a prize!

This Fun Day and Colour Run will be a sponsored event to raise money for the betterment of St. Patrick's. Last Summer's fundraiser was a phenomenal success, with the amazing generosity of our school community and local businesses helping to improve the everyday experience of pupils in our school. With those funds, we were able to buy state-of-the-art whiteboards for some of our classrooms, buy brand new blackout blinds for every room in the school, and also refreshing the facade of our building. The place looks fantastic!

Our hope now is to build on last Summer's improvements with further additions that will enhance the experience and learning of every child in our school.
