World Book Day 2026
10th Mar 2026
Today in St. Patrick’s, our classrooms and corridors were filled with excitement and adventure as pupils dressed up as their favourite book characters - another World Book Day has been and gone!
We had wizards and witches, princesses and plumbers, sporting heroes and super heroes - you name it, we had it.
We also had our Primary 7 children who all dressed as people from Victorian Times, alongside their study this month of the classic tale, "Under the Hawthorn Tree."
A huge thank you to all the parents and wider families for their support in making this day so special. Let's continue to foster a love for reading and imagination in our young learners! The creativity and effort on show was outstanding.
"There is only one thing that can replace a book: the next book."
